Challenge

The largest food exhibition in UAE, aimed to maximize footfall for their annual food expo. Their goal was to increase awareness and ticket sales year-over-year without increasing the cost per registration.

Solution

A comprehensive strategy to address this challenge through the following steps:

  1. Analysis: Conducted a deep dive analysis of the brand's key assets, including the website, social platforms, creative assets, and media planning. A PESTLE (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental) analysis was also conducted to better understand the industry and context.

  2. Building the Foundations: Created a prioritized action plan focused on "big wins" that would drive the largest impact. This included optimizing the website’s user journey, reallocating media based on historical performance, revamping the audience targeting strategy, and fixing tracking issues.

  3. Agile Approach: During the campaign, I continuously reallocated budgets from underperforming channels to high-conversion ones. This flexible approach ensured optimal performance throughout the campaign.

  4. Teamwork & Collaboration: Worked closely with internal and external teams to ensure best practices in paid media, audience segmentation, and creative customization. This involved social media engagement strategies and fine-tuning the content calendar.

  • Achieved a 5x Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) while maintaining the same cost per registration.

  • Increased brand engagement and awareness by 29% year-over-year (YoY) across all social channels.

  • Optimized the website, leading to a 60% annual increase in organic traffic and a 12% reduction in bounce rate.
